The Brief
Our client, based in Parkstone, Dorset, wanted to create the perfect sheltered area under which they could position their patio furniture to enjoy days and nights with friends and family in their charming garden. They also wanted to make the most of their beautiful landscaped garden even when the strong summer sun is shining down or on overcast autumn days.
It was also important to the client that the solution would help shade the interior of their home to help keep it cool during the summer months and to protect their belongings from the harsh glare of the sun.
The Solution
Following a detailed consultation with the client, the experienced Broadview team suggested installing the B28 garden awning. This versatile shading solution has a projection of up to 3 metres so provides ample shaded space for the client to place their patio furniture. It also provides effective protection for the interior of their home as requested. When not in use the B28 awning retracts neatly into the discreet cassette attached to the exterior wall of their property.
In order for the client to be able to enjoy their stunning garden even when the weather turns a little colder, we also installed an outdoor heater with their awning. The outdoor heater complements the awning perfectly, providing a wonderfully cosy spot for al fresco dining or glass of your favourite tipple at the end of a long day while surrounded by nature.
