Product Guarantees for Outdoor Shading Systems

At Broadview, we take pride in supplying and installing premium outdoor living systems designed for quality, performance and longevity. To give you complete peace of mind, all our products are covered by a comprehensive warranty package.

General Warranty Information

All our pergolas and outdoor shading systems are precision-engineered to the highest European standards. With correct use and regular maintenance, your investment will provide years of reliable enjoyment.

Our outdoor systems are designed to be highly weather-resistant and durable, though it’s important to note that complete watertightness cannot be guaranteed. All installations should be completed by a certified Broadview Installer to maintain warranty validity.

Warranty Coverage

Please note that the Broadview warranty does not cover re-installation costs or call out charges after 12 months from the original installation date, nor does it cover travelling costs, all of which will be calculated at the time.

If your product was installed more than 12 months ago, the following call out charges apply:

• £150 within 1 hour radius of our head office
• £250 within 2 hour radius of our head office
• £350 outside of 2 hour radius of our head office

Further labour charges will be charged by the hour for any reworks required and will be quoted for accordingly following the call out assessment and subsequent report). All prices are including VAT

Exclusions and Conditions

The warranty does not cover:

• Damage from improper use, negligence, storms, or failure to maintain the product.
• Misuse, such as operating during frost, snow accumulation, or leaving screens rolled up when wet.
• Colour variation or natural ageing of fabrics.
• Normal wear and tear including minor marks, wrinkles, or folds.
• Discolouration due to smoke or pollutants.
• Any unauthorised modifications or non-approved accessories.

Fabrics and coatings are subject to natural ageing processes. Limited colour variation between batches is normal due to manufacturing differences.

Maintenance and Care

To ensure the longevity of your outdoor shading system:

• Clean aluminium components twice a year with mild soap and water.
• Avoid high-pressure cleaning or abrasive products.
• Keep gutters, drains, and louvres free from debris.
• Allow fabrics to dry before rolling up to prevent mould.
• Book regular professional maintenance – annually for residential installations, and every 6 months for commercial or coastal sites.

Technical Performance

All products meet EN 13561 standards for wind resistance and safety.

• Louvred roofs resist wind speeds up to120 km/h when closed.
• Retractable PVC roofs withstand winds up to100 km/h.
• Screens and fabrics are certified to resist winds of up to 49 km/h, depending on size.

Optional wind, rain, and temperature sensor scan be integrated for additional protection, though their function cannot be absolutely guaranteed during extreme weather conditions.

Making a Warranty Claim

If you experience a fault within the warranty period, please contact our service team with your installation details.

Approved warranty repairs or replacements are provided free of charge for parts only.
