The Brief
We were asked by our client to provide a discreet outdoor shading solution that would create a versatile and useable outside space during not only the day, but also well into the evening. What's more, as their property is located in a fairly built up area, privacy was another important concern.

The Solution
After an initial consultation with the client, we agreed that the best solution for their needs was the beautiful Brustor B38 Garden Awning. With a width of 6 metres and projection of 3.5 metres, this awning adds plenty of shade to their garden for relief from the bright summer sun or shelter from passing showers.
The awning also adds a high level of privacy to their patio by shielding the area from overlooking properties. What's more, the built-in, remote controlled valance provides another layer of privacy and shields anyone sitting under the awning from the glare from the setting sun. The entire awning retracts neatly into the cassette attached to the property when not in use.
To fulfil the client's wishes of being able to continue to use the awning into the evening and beyond, we added fully integrated LED lights. Not only do the lights have a practical function of illuminating the space under the awning but they also create a warm and welcoming atmosphere that's fantastic for late summer evenings or cloudy days.
The Result
The Brustor B38 Garden Awning provides our delighted client with the extra outdoor space they had been dreaming of and they can use it well into the night thanks to the built-in LED lighting. Simple to extend and retract, the large canopy protects those underneath from the ever changing elements while improving privacy in an otherwise open area.
